State Re­pub­lic­an Party Chair Brandon Bell said Thursday he and and oth­er party mem­bers are “ag­gress­ively woo­ing po­ten­tial 2018 can­did­ates, in­clud­ing former state Su­preme Court Justice Robert Flanders, whom Bell views as a po­ten­tial GOP rock star. … Bell said he met ‘with­in the last month’ with Flanders, who re­turned to private prac­tice after leav­ing the bench. … Flanders’ re­sponse so far, ac­cord­ing to Bell: ‘Tell me what you’ve got.’” (Provid­ence Journ­al)
