One of Keeley’s favorite moments in recent years was driving astronauts Neil Armstrong and Eugene Cernan around Washington when they testified before the Science Committee in 2011. The honor came courtesy of contacts from his first job on Capitol Hill in 1992, with former Sen. Frank Murkowski, R-Alaska. This year, Keeley, 45, has been busy helping shepherd a complex patent bill through the House, and he is in charge of one of the committee’s biggest undertakings: a review of the copyright code.
