State Rep. Frank Edelblut (R) on Tuesday touted his 100% score by the state chapter of Americans for Prosperity. “The AFP-NH scorecard shows that” state Sen. Jeanie Forrester (R) “earned a ‘C’ rating.”

Edelblut: “It is clear from the AFP-NH’s scorecard that I am the proven conservative in the race for Governor. Americans for Prosperity-NH is New Hampshire’s fiscal conservative and economic liberty voice and I am glad to have earned a 100% rating on their 2016 Scorecard.” (release)

MIXED RECORD. “As the son of a former governor and brother of a past U.S. senator,” Executive Councilor’s Chris Sununu’s (R) “name recognition gives him an early boost in the race to replace” Gov. Maggie Hassan (D). “It’s also making him the top target of his rivals in a crowded GOP primary field where each of the candidates is relatively unknown.”

Sununu: “Am I the front runner? Probably. … That’s probably why my opponents want to take quick shots at me as best as they can.” (AP)
