Pre-primary reports for Kentucky’s May 17 primary were due Thursday, covering April 1-27.

In KY-01, the race for retiring Rep. Ed Whitfield’s (R) seat, former gubernatorial candidate James Comer (R) raised $64,000, spent $273,000, and had $373,000 in cash on hand. (FEC) Former congressional district director Mike Pape (R) took in $25,000, spent $239,000 spent, and had $96,000 in the bank. (FEC) Hickman County Attorney Jason Batts (R) drew $3,200, spent $77,000, and had $39,000 in cash on hand. (FEC)
