National Journal Sales Team Expands in New York

Liz Rioux-Christian to Serve as National Account Director

Wash­ing­ton, D.C., and New York, N.Y. (Feb. 10, 2014) — Bruce Got­tlieb, pres­id­ent of Na­tion­al Journ­al Group, an­nounced today that Liz Ri­oux-Chris­ti­an has joined the com­pany as na­tion­al ac­count dir­ect­or in charge of the brand’s North­east re­gion ad­vert­ising sales di­vi­sion. She will be based in New York and work closely with Na­tion­al Journ­al’s D.C.-based sales team, led by Chief Rev­en­ue Of­ficer Poppy Mac­Don­ald.

“Liz’s ad­vert­ising in­sights and ex­per­i­ence make her a highly trus­ted and re­spec­ted re­source for her cli­ent and agency part­ners,” Mac­Don­ald said. “Her in­dustry know­ledge, strong work eth­ic, and pas­sion for me­dia make her an ex­cel­lent ad­di­tion to our team.”

Ri­oux-Chris­ti­an joins Na­tion­al Journ­al from McMur­ray/TMG, a lead­ing con­tent mar­ket­ing agency, where she served as the vice pres­id­ent of con­tent sales. Be­fore join­ing McMur­ray/TMG, Ri­oux-Chris­ti­an worked across sev­er­al na­tion­al me­dia brands, in­clud­ing CQ Roll Call, New­s­week, and Meredith Cor­por­a­tion. 

Ad­ded Got­tlieb, “Liz’s un­der­stand­ing of the cus­tom con­tent space will no doubt help us take our already grow­ing and suc­cess­ful nat­ive ad­vert­ising cam­paigns to a new level, en­han­cing the cus­tom ex­per­i­ence for our ad­vert­isers.”
