The campaign of former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (R) released a new 60-second radio ad Wednesday in South Carolina. It features former President George W. Bush “talking about Jeb’s experience, ideas and resolve that make him ready to be our Commander-in-Chief and in command of our military.” (release)

FORWARD MARCH. After securing a fourth place finish Tuesday night, Bush told supporters in New Hampshire he was ready for the next primary. Bush: “It looks like you all have reset the race. This campaign is not dead. We’re going to South Carolina!” (Miami Herald)

“Bush is already laying the groundwork for a brutal South Carolina campaign against establishment rivals” Ohio Gov. John Kasich and Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL). In an internal memo, the Bush campaign hit home to supporters that Kasich “supported gutting the military and has no viable path in the Palmetto State.” Meanwhile, Rubio “has lost momentum and has been exposed as completely unprepared to be president.” (Politico)
