Walker Spending Money from Gubernatorial Account

Records show he spent over $240,000 on web ads last year.

Gov. Scott Walk­er (R) “used his cam­paign for gov­ernor ag­gress­ively on the In­ter­net in the last half of 2015, spend­ing more than $240,000 dol­lars on web ad­vert­ising and site de­vel­op­ment. … Much of the spend­ing also came dur­ing or right after his un­suc­cess­ful 70-day cam­paign for pres­id­ent in Ju­ly, Au­gust and Septem­ber of last year.”

“Like a series of of­fi­cial listen­ing ses­sions planned for this year, the 2015 spend­ing by the gov­ernor’s state cam­paign could be seen as one more sign that he is in­vest­ing re­sources in pos­sible re-elec­tion run in 2018.” (Mil­wau­kee Journ­al Sen­tinel)
