Alex Sink (D) is still considering challenging Rep. David Jolly (R), but said if she does run again, she will do it this year rather than waiting until 2016. The Tampa Bay Times gave Sink “unsolicited advice” saying her chances would be better in a presidential election year, when Democratic and independent turnout will likely be higher than in a midterm race. But Sink told the student newspaper at Wake Forest University, her alma mater, that she won’t run in 2016 “unless [she’s] running as the incumbent.” (Old, Gold & Black)
