Former President George W. Bush (R) may reemerge to help the struggling campaign of his brother, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (R). According to someone present on a conference call with alumni from the campaigns of the candidate’s father and brother, Bush’s sister Dorothy Bush Koch said: “I wouldn’t be surprised if we see 43 on the trail in South Carolina”. (New York Times

Meanwhile, Bush’s mother, former First Lady Barbara Bush, released a video and handwritten letter encouraging voters to choose her son.

In the video, she says “People are going to realize Jeb has real solutions. Rather than talking about how popular they are, how great they are, he’s doing it because he sees a huge need and it’s not being filled by anybody.” (CNN)

ON THE ATTACK. Pro-Bush super PAC Right to Rise released a new TV ad in New Hampshire, attacking Ohio Gov. John Kasich (R) for his record on expanding on Obamacare and his support for defense cuts. (Twitter
