If there’s one thing that politicians are good at, it’s the “dad dance.”

Luckily for America, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, with the help of comedian Jimmy Fallon, on Thursday night performed the Evolution of Dad Dancing. Such dances included the “Oh, Stop It! I’m Not Embarrassing You” and the “Passionate Elliptical.”

And no Christie montage would be complete without a reference to the Boss. Fallon and Christie rock out to the “Dance You Do at a Springsteen Concert.”

But the dancing stopped when Fallon brought up the inevitable dance: The “This Bridge is Closed,” where the late-night host waved his finger and the visibly thinner Christie exited. Was a Bridgegate joke too soon?

Christie, though, did take the jokes a lot better from Fallon than from comedian and daytime talk-show host Joy Behar back in April.

This is perfect way for the “Father of the Year” to celebrate Father’s Day.
