Several Air Force officers entrusted with the nation’s nuclear arsenal were recently caught in a scheme to cheat during a standard proficiency test. Stephen Colbert doesn’t blame them: How else is the United States supposed to beat the Chinese?

And in today’s political scandals: former Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell and his wife face indictment after accepting several financial gifts from the head of a health product company.

And for the sake of karmic balance, Chris Christie’s inauguration celebration was postponed. After the New Jersey governor made George Washington Bridge drivers wait for ages, it’s only fair.
