Ted Cruz fell short in the Con­ser­vat­ive Polit­ic­al Ac­tion Con­fer­ence straw poll, los­ing to Ken­tucky’s “ra­ging liber­tari­an” Rand Paul. However, Jon Stew­art shows that straw poll pat­terns are ac­tu­ally in Cruz’s fa­vor go­ing in­to 2016.

Plus: Sarah Pal­in in­sults Sam-I-Am with her dig at Obama­care, but calls Obama a “good guy.” And Steph­en Col­bert re­ports on the chan­ging at­ti­tudes of Amer­ic­ans on the is­sues of mar­riage and marijuana: “You may now toke the bride.”
