The group is usually included among those in Hawaii considered to be particularly helpful and effective when it comes to grassroots organizing, door-knocking, and getting supporters to the polls on Election Day. Others include the AFL-CIO, the Hawaii Government Employees Association (HGEA), and the Sierra Club. The HGEA said last month they would not endorse in the primary, and Sierra Club has yet to endorse a candidate.
