Walker, Burke Remain Tied in Latest Marquette Poll

Half the state still hasn’t formed opinions about Burke.

Gov. Scott Walk­er (R) and former Trek ex­ec­ut­ive Mary Burke (D) re­mained es­sen­tially tied in the latest Mar­quette Law School poll, with Walk­er tak­ing 46% to Burke’s 47% among likely voters. (Ju­ly 17-20, 549 LVs, +/- 4.3%.) (It was Walk­er 46%-45% Burke among RVs.) Walk­er’s ap­prov­al rat­ings are 47% ap­prov­al to 48% dis­ap­prov­al and his fa­vor­able/un­fa­vor­able rat­ing is 45%/47%, while Burke’s is 26%/24%. About half of voters still haven’t formed opin­ions about her.

33% of voters said they’ve been con­tac­ted by a cam­paign in the last month. (re­lease)
