McSally Raises $394,000 in 15 Days as Candidates File Pre-General FEC Reports

Can­did­ates filed their pre-gen­er­al fun­drais­ing re­ports with the FEC last night, cov­er­ing Oct. 1-15. Be­low are the fun­drais­ing totals of can­did­ates in some of the most com­pet­it­ive House races.

AR-02: Busi­ness­man French Hill (R) re­por­ted rais­ing $85,000 and hav­ing $97,000 cash on hand. Former North Little Rock May­or Patrick Henry Hays (D) re­por­ted rais­ing $69,000 and hav­ing $185,000 cash on hand.

AZ-01: Rep. Ann Kirk­patrick (D) re­por­ted rais­ing $220,000 and hav­ing $281,000 cash on hand. State House Speak­er Andy To­bin (R) raised $93,000 and had $196,000 cash on hand.

AZ-02: Rep. Ron Barber (D) raised $149,000 and had $728,000 cash on hand. Re­tired Air Force fight­er pi­lot Martha Mc­Sally (R) raised $394,000 and had $825,000 cash on hand.

CA-07: Rep. Ami Be­ra (D) raised $248,000 and had $346,000 cash on hand. Former Rep. Doug Ose (R) raised $87,000 and had $488,000 cash on hand.

CA-26: Rep. Ju­lia Brown­ley (D) raised $166,000 and had $754,000 cash on hand. State As­sembly­man Jeff Gorell (R) raised $105,000 and had $228,000 cash on hand.

CA-52: Rep. Scott Peters (D) raised $190,000 and had $683,000 cash on hand. Former San Diego City Coun­cil­man Carl De­Maio (R) raised $200,000 and had $481,000.

FL-02: Rep. Steve South­er­land (R) raised $82,000 and had $179,000 cash on hand. At­tor­ney Gwen Gra­ham (D) raised $173,000 and had $184,000 cash on hand.

FL-26: Rep. Joe Gar­cia (D) raised $113,000 and had $437,000 cash on hand. Miami-Dade School Board mem­ber Car­los Cur­belo (R) raised $175,000 and had $377,000 cash on hand.

GA-12: Rep. John Bar­row (D) raised $115,000 and had $445,000 cash on hand. Con­struc­tion com­pany own­er Rick Al­len (R) raised $121,000 and had $362,000 cash on hand.

IA-03: Former con­gres­sion­al aide Dav­id Young (R) raised $117,000 and had $30,000 cash on hand. Former state Sen. Staci Ap­pel (D) raised $133,000 and had $246,000 cash on hand.

IL-10: Rep. Brad Schneider (D) raised $307,000 and had $479,000 cash on hand. Former Rep. Bob Dold (R) raised $160,000 and had $1 mil­lion cash on hand.

IL-12: Rep. Bill En­yart (D) raised $85,000 and had $222,000 cash on hand. State Rep. Mike Bost (R) raised $103,000 and had $81,000 cash on hand.

ME-02: State Sen. Emily Cain (D) raised $152,000 and hand $257,000 cash on hand. Former state treas­urer Bruce Poli­quin (R) $99,000 and had $370,000 cash on hand.

MN-08: Rep. Rick No­lan (D) raised $124,000 and had $279,000 cash on hand. Busi­ness­man Stew­art Mills (R) raised $121,000 and had $197,000 cash on hand.

NE-02: Rep. Lee Terry (R) raised $211,000 and had $216,000 cash on hand. State Sen. Brad Ash­ford (D) raised $141,000 and had $56,000 cash on hand.

NH-01: Rep. Car­ol Shea-Port­er (D) raised $137,000 and had $120,000 cash on hand. Rep. Frank Guinta (R) raised $159,000 and had $381,000 cash on hand.

NY-11: Rep. Mi­chael Grimm (R) raised $8,938 and had $325,000 cash on hand. Former New York City Coun­cil­man Domen­ic Rec­chia (D) raised $101,000 and had $556,000 cash on hand.

WV-03: Rep. Nick Ra­hall (D) raised $85,000 and had $174,000 cash on hand. State Sen. Evan Jen­kins (R) raised $35,000 and had $172,000 cash on hand.

"Federal prosecutors in Manhattan are investigating whether President Trump’s 2017 inaugural committee misspent some of the record $107 million it raised from donations, people familiar with the matter said. The criminal probe by the Manhattan U.S. attorney’s office, which is in its early stages, also is examining whether some of the committee’s top donors gave money in exchange for access to the incoming Trump administration, policy concessions or to influence official administration positions."

"Alleged Russian spy Maria Butina pleaded guilty in federal court Thursday for conspiracy to act as an illegal foreign agent in the United States. Butina, 30, was accused of working to infiltrate Republican political circles through groups such as the National Rifle Association to bolster Russian interests." She admitted to acting "under direction of" Alexander Torshin. "She faces a maximum of five years in prison and will likely be deported after serving any time."
