2012 Sen­ate nom­in­ee Tom Smith’s (R) sup­port­ers said he is “ser­i­ously con­sid­er­ing” a primary chal­lenge against Rep. Bill Shuster (R). Real es­tate in­vestor Art Halvor­son (R), who chal­lenged Shuster in 2014, said he will sup­port Smith “100 per­cent” if he enters the race. (The Hill)
