One day after Mike Bloomberg said he wasn’t an “expert” on the Iraq war, he “weighed in” on the Nat’l Intelligence Estimate that found Iran stopped nuclear weapons work in ‘03. Bloomberg: “If it turns out they’re not pursuing nuclear weapons, that’s good. I think the report did not say that they have stopped refining uranium and other things that would be useful in creating nuclear weapons. I don’t think we should stop worrying.”
More Bloomberg on 12/3, asking about Iraq war surge reports: “Everybody wants the see the conflict in Iraq ended and our troops brought home safely” (Rauh, New York Sun, 12/5).
