Digital Friendly Media Relations: Updating the Press Release (Module 3)

This four-part course focuses on the changing landscape of today’s newsroom, and how this impacts the way we develop trusted relationships with reporters. Course content shares strategies and tactics for tailoring outreach through digital channels, including optimizing the traditional press release format and other content to better align with the ways in which reporters want to receive information today.

Module Three, "Updating the Press Release," explores best practices in creating more effective press releases including format, headlines, and quotes.
