An earlier version of this report misidentified a White House spokesman. He is Josh Earnest.

Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton is not in talks to move to the World Bank, a White House spokesman said on Thursday.

In an exclusive report, Reuters wrote earlier on Thursday that Clinton has been in talks with the White House about heading the World Bank.

The report is "not true," White House spokesman Josh Earnest said.

Clinton has said that she does not intend to remain as secretary of State for another term if President Obama is reelected.

Two Reuters sources said that Clinton wants the job; another source said Obama "has expressed support," Reuters reported.
