President Obama on Monday acknowledged that Iran is in possession of a U.S. drone that went missing last week and said the United States wants it back.
“With respect to the drone inside of Iran, I'm not going to comment on intelligence matters that are classified,” Obama said when asked about the drone at a press conference with Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki. “As has already been indicated, we have asked for it back. We'll see how the Iranians respond.”
Last week, the Iranians said they would not return the drone.
