On Labor Day, Labor Secretary Solis Pushes Bipartisan Effort on Jobs -- VIDEO

Labor Secretary Hilda Solis previewed President Obama's upcoming job speech on the Today show Monday. 

"I don't want to get in front of the president, but I know that he's going to be really helping to energize and hopefully get a lot of folks from both sides of the aisle to understand the importance of working on these proposals that he's going to put forward to put millions of people back to work," Solis said.

Among his proposals aimed at job creation will be investments in infrastructure, assistance to dislocated workers (those who have been out of work for 6 months or longer) and payroll tax relief for middle-class workers, she said.
