When asked by ABC News anchor George Stephanopoulos in an interview on Monday if he was the underdog heading into the 2012 election, President Obama was quick to say, “Absolutely.”
“I don’t mind,” Obama said. “I’m used to being an underdog.”
Obama said the 2012 election will be “a contest of values and vision”, and took the opportunity to criticize the GOP-controlled House for stifling plans he says would help the economy and promote jobs.
