President Obama began his vacation last Thursday on Martha's Vineyard, where he planned to spend nine days with his family. Check out what the Obamas have been up to in the gallery below.

<p>On Friday, Obama <a href="http://nationaljournal.com/obama-calls-on-residents-in-hurricane-s-path-to-evacuate-20110826">urged</a> all those in the path of oncoming Hurricane Irene to take immediate precautions.
