In New Book, Bill Clinton Offers Economic Ideas of His Own

November 5, 2011

Former President Bill Clinton thinks President Obama has a problem explaining economic issues. So Clinton has taken matters into his own hands, and has written a book that makes the case for Obama's jobs bill, other economic initiatives, and some ideas that Clinton has.

The book, Back to Work is to be released on Tuesday. It goes into detail about Clinton's relationship with Obama, which has at times been rocky. Recently, the two men have been on good terms, but The New York Times says there has been no recent heart-to-heart talk between Clinton and Obama. Vice President Joe Biden often serves as a mediator between Clinton and Obama.

The Times characterized the book as a "classic Clinton talkathon, zooming from job-creation ideas to a complaint about something he saw on Bill Maher’s show."
