Halloween at the White House: The Obamas Welcome Trick-or-Treaters -- VIDEO

Despite the cold weather, the first family welcomed trick-or-treaters to the White House on Saturday. Donned in all black, President Obama and the first lady gushed over children's costumes. The portico was lit orange for the occasion, but we’re not sure what treats filled the goblins' bags. 

Speaking with Jay Leno last week, the president said he hoped the first lady would consider letting go of her healthy standards for a night and hand out candy rather than fruit. “The White House is going to get egged,” Obama joked. The children were selected from regional public schools and military families.
