Secretary of Education Arne Duncan said on Monday that he supports same-sex marriage, the second Obama administration official to come out in favor of the policy in as many days.
A day after Vice President Joe Biden said that he was "absolutely comfortable" with same-sex marriage in a wide-ranging interview on NBC's Meet the Press, Duncan gave a simple, "Yes, I do," when asked on MSNBC's Morning Joe.
Duncan did not elaborate, other than to say that he was unsure if he had ever been asked the question publicly before.
