With only 14 days left in his forties, President Obama said on Thursday that he feels “real good” about turning the big 5-0. But, in an interview with NPR, he says there's one gift he'd really love.

"What I really want right now is to get a debt-ceiling deal for my birthday,” he said, quickly adding with a laugh, “That’s kind of sad, I know.”

After a little prodding, one other possible gift. “Maybe I’ll have ... a good hamburger on my birthday as well."

He seemed undeterred by the prospect of the birthday on August 4. “Obviously I’ve gotten a little grayer since I took this job, but otherwise, I feel pretty good,” he said, adding, “And Michelle you know says that ... she still thinks I'm cute, you know, and I guess that’s, that's all that matters isn't it?”
