VIDEO: Are Debt-Ceiling Talks like Reality TV? No-Drama Obama Says No Way

In contrast to the East Room press conference last month, President Obama appeared cool and determined during his latest turn in front of the press corps on in the briefing room on Friday. 

While reports this week said that the president stormed out of a meeting, he played down the dramatics when asked about whether discussions had become futile in recent days.

When asked if he thought that the talks to told reporters that he doesn't listen to what's being said about him on television or in print -- including floor statements by Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell.
