Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney appeared on Fox News Sunday to discuss his prospects in Michigan and Arizona in Tuesdays primaries. Read the full transcript.

“I’m planning on winning here in Michigan and obviously Arizona," he said.

Romney stuck by his position that the federal government should not have bailed out Detroit’s automakers even though, as host Chris Wallace pointed out, the head of GM and governor of Michigan, a Romney supporter, both have said the auto industry would not have survived without the government money.

He also defended remarking earlier this week that he owns a Ford Mustang and a couple of Cadillacs, a comment that drew criticism that Romney was disconnected from average voters. “If people think there’s something wrong with being successful in America then they better vote for the other guy,” he said.
