Wealthy Mexican business executives, finding life in their homeland increasingly dangerous, are among a new wave of immigrants settling in major Texas cities, including San Antonio.

They come to the state's second-largest city looking to invest in businesses or build new ones.

 

National Journal reporter Sophie Quinton explored the motivation and successes of a new cadre of leaders giving shape to the city’s future.
