Today's e-Reads: The Blessing and the Curse of iPhones

One day before the European Commission released proposed changes to its data-privacy directive, Facebook’s Sheryl Sandberg seemed to be telling European regulators they should focus on their troubled economy instead of making their privacy rules tougher, The New York Times reported

Morgan Stanley is wooing Facebook in hopes of leading the social-networking giant’s initial public offering, according to The Wall Street Journal. 

 

A surge in iPhone sales sent Apple past Google’s Android in terms of market share, Reuters reports, while The Journal notes that the iPhone is both a blessing and a curse for Verizon.

Apple CEO Tim Cook says that the company’s bid to get into the TV business is doing just fine, according to CNET

Whether they like it or not, Facebook users are being switched to the new time-line format.
