A man with a machete robbed Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer while he was at his vacation home in the Caribbean Thursday, a Supreme Court spokeswoman announced.

The man took about $1000 in cash while Breyer, his wife, and guests were at the house on the island of Nevis at about 9 p.m., and no one was hurt, the Associated Press reports.

Justice David Souter was the most recent justice to be a victim of a crime, having been assaulted while jogging in Washington by a group of yound men in 2004.
