Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich thinks Clint Eastwood may have been right about President Obama.
Gingrich on Sunday jabbed Obama on his performance during Wednesday’s presidential debate, saying that Obama was not prepared for the face-off and suggesting that Clint Eastwood’s empty chair monologue at the Republican National Convention was representative of the president’s poor showing.
“Mitt Romney walked over him,” Gingrich said on NBC’s Meet the Press. “The weird moment with Eastwood and an empty chair may turn out to be symbolic.”
