Fareed Zakaria GPS returned to CNN’s lineup on Sunday after being on hiatus for several weeks while the network investigated a plagiarism incident involving the show’s host.

Fareed Zakaria came under scrutiny after portions of his Time magazine column and a blog post on CNN.com were found to contain passages that were nearly identical to a piece in the New Yorker. Zakaria apologized for the incident, calling it a mistake.

Both CNN and Time reviewed Zakaria’s work and found no further problems.

Zakaria interviewed former Secretary of State Colin Powell on Sunday’s show.
