Steven Shepard is polling editor for National Journal Hotline.  Since joining The Hotline in 2008, Shepard has covered the presidential election, the Obama transition, Supreme Court confirmations, and other Senate, House, gubernatorial and mayoral elections. During the 2010 campaign, Shepard covered political polling and the polling industry, and edited the “Hotline Extra” feature for National Journal.  A native of East Meadow, N.Y., Shepard is a 2004 graduate of The George Washington University in Washington.
