Naureen Khan is a staff reporter for National Journal, where she covers politics and policy.  Originally hailing from Plano, Texas, she graduated with honors from Duke University in 2010, earning a bachelor’s degree in English with a minor in political science. Khan served in various leadership capacities for The Chronicle, the campus daily, covering everything from the 2008 elections in North Carolina to the effects of the recession on the university. She has also previously worked as a general assignment reporter for the Raleigh News & Observer and the Austin American-Statesman.
