Joey is the design editor for National Journal Daily. He began his career as a graphic artist at a daily newspaper in suburban Atlanta. He served as production manager and art director of Southern Voice (now GA Voice) for four years. He moved to NYC in 2007 and worked at a variety of design firms and publishing companies. He then served as art director for two political publications — The Capitol and City Hall. In 2011, he merged the two publications and launched City & State NY.
