Based on rapid growth and high reader engagement, in 2011 the brand was the only magazine given the title of social "tribe" by L2. Originally from central Illinois, Hall graduated from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa with bachelor's degrees in Journalsm and Mass Communication and Political Science.
