Olga Belogolova reports on energy and environment policy for National Journal and manages the bi-monthly Energy and Environment Insiders Poll. Prior to joining National Journal, Belogolova was the West Coast Editor of Encore Magazine, managing editorial content and new media. In 2010, Olga was a finalist in the MySpace Journal World Economic Forum contest. Belogolova holds bachelor’s degrees in Journalism and European Studies from Boston University. She studied abroad at Oxford University and wrote two chapters of the book UChic: The College Girl’s Guide to Everything. In 2009, she was one of 10 American journalism students selected for a press trip to Jordan. Her work has appeared in Encore Magazine, Boston Magazine, OC METRO and OC Family Magazine, among others. Olga was born in Ukraine and is fluent in Russian and French and has a working knowledge of Hebrew and Italian.
