Gregg Sangillo

Managing Editor, The Almanac of American Politics

Gregg Sangillo has been working as managing editor for The Almanac of American Politics since June 2010. He previously spent nearly seven years working as a reporter with National Journal, where he edited and wrote for the People column in the magazine and CongressDaily. In addition, Sangillo has authored stories on abortion, gay rights, race relations, and criminal justice matters. He has also frequently written about lobbying and was a contributor to National Journal's blog, Under the Influence. Sangillo, who hails from suburban Philadelphia, earned his bachelor's degree in political science and literature from West Chester University and a master's degree in political science from University of Pennsylvania.
