WASHINGTON, D.C., August 24, 2012 – National Journal, The Atlantic, and CBS News will hold live briefings each morning at the Republican National Convention in Tampa, featuring informed insight on the latest convention developments with incisive analysis from leading reporters from all three organizations.
The briefings will feature a large array of journalistic talent, including James Bennet, Ron Brownstein, John Dickerson, Ron Fournier, Garance Franke-Ruta, Major Garrett, Norah O'Donnell, Bill Plante, Beth Reinhard, Bob Schieffer, and Reid Wilson.
Featured guests include top campaign strategists, leading pollsters, and campaign technology experts. Each daily briefing will focus on a different topic:
- MONDAY - The Digital Campaign and Social Media’s Impact in 2012
- TUESDAY - The Election in Numbers: A Conversation with Leading Pollsters
- WEDNESDAY - Down Ballot: The Top Senate and House Races of the Cycle
- THURSDAY - View from the Top: A Conversation with Campaign Managers and Senior Strategists
Each daily briefing will be held from 9:30-11:00am at the National Journal/Atlantic Convention Headquarters in the Ybor City neighborhood of Tampa (Carne Chophouse @ El Centro Espanol, 1536 E. 7th Avenue). The briefings are open to the public.
