WASHINGTON, D.C., August 23, 2012 – National Journal, The Atlantic, and Microsoft announced today that Josh Romney and NBC Chief White House Correspondent Chuck Todd will be joining their "Conversations with the Next Generation" event on Wednesday, August 29, at the Republican National Convention in Tampa.

Young voters, who were critical voices in the election four years ago, are struggling today due to concerns about jobs, education and lack of opportunity. Yet, they remain a critical voting bloc for the candidate that will best speak to their issues. The "Conversations with the Next Generation" Town Halls will feature next generation leaders, policy experts, journalists, and featured guests , wrestling with these issues in a dialogue with younger Americans and students gathering at the Republican National Convention. (A "Conversations with the Next Generation" event will also take place a the Democratic National Convention.)

In addition to the live events, the Town Halls will be simulcast on the National Journal and The Atlantic websites.

The event is invitation-only, but members of the media may request to be added to the press list. Please RSVP to register@theatlantic.com and indicate the media outlet you will be representing.
