National Journal’s Hotline Gets an Upgrade and Redesign

Hotline Teams Up With OhMyGov to Give Users Powerful New Political Tracking Tools

WASHINGTON, D.C., May 14, 2013 – National Journal has fully redesigned The Hotlinewith a brand new look, a user-friendly interface, and powerful political tracking tools. Subscribers will continue to enjoy The Hotline editors' irreverent and comprehensive look at political developments from across the country, presented alongside campaign news links from around the web, race-by-race polling data and demographic metrics in partnership with OhMyGov, a media monitoring and political analysis research firm.  

New Features:

  • Sortable News Monitoring & Aggregation For Each Political Race and Candidate
  • Social Media Tracking and Ranking 
  • User-Friendly Interface

Additional enhancements later this year will offer subscribers aggregated polling data on every national race and, campaign financial disclosures, plus a customizable race dashboard of the national and gubernatorial contests of greatest interest to them.

Every House, Senate and gubernatorial race has a dedicated profile page complete with candidate profiles, poll tracking, news monitoring, social media engagement, and financial disclosures.  With these new tools, Hotline has broadened its commitment to delivering comprehensive news and information on every federal and statewide race in the country. Subscribers will get a firsthand look at the full spectrum of campaign coverage, from the national atmospherics to local behind-the-scenes chatter.
