The former senator from Pennsylvania proved last night that old people saying dirty things is inherently funny. According to The Philadelphia Inquirer, Specter took to an open-mic night (video below, mildly NSFW) at Philadelphia's Helium Comedy Club. Reaching deep into his well of political jokes, Specter mocked Bill Clinton, former Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell, and Herman Cain, most of which unsurprisingly ended in a raunchy sexual punch line. (Specter also proved that just saying "Herman Cain" is really funny.)
"I’ve been in comedy now for 30 years — the only difference is that it’s not stand-up. We all have comfortable chairs,” Specter joked. As of press time, there have been no reports of an SNL petition for Specter.
