With three late-night shows -- The Tonight Show, Late Nightand The Late Show -- on vacation this week, the jokes were fewer, but no less hilarious and on-point. Comedy Central’s shows were not on the air Friday to welcome the sequestration, so both shows did so Monday night with different results. The Colbert Report went back to explaining the sequester, while The Daily Show took a different route.
All the shows but Colbert and The Late Late Show were on the Dennis "The Worm" Rodman story, though. Jimmy Kimmel had suggestions for how to avert war with North Korea, while Jon Stewart wondered aloud about Rodman's credentials (or lack thereof).
Fast forward to 3:00 to see Kimmel expose pedestrians’ lack of knowledge about sequestration by asking “The Confusing Question of the Day” of people on Hollywood Blvd.
