See National Journal's slideshow of notable politicians and dignitaries on their way to the 3 p.m. memorial service for veteran diplomat Richard Holbrooke.

Holbrooke most recently served as the nation’s top envoy to Pakistan and Afghanistan, a position he held until he died on the evening of Dec. 13 after emergency surgery to repair a torn aorta.

The service is being held at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C.
