Mitch Daniels Doesn't Rule Out VP Slot

Months after saying he won’t run for president himself, Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels didn’t rule out answering the call to run in the No. 2 slot.

“You know, you can't say you wouldn't answer it if someone called,” Daniels said Tuesday on Fox & Friends. “But, you know, it seems so improbable to me and certainly nothing I anticipate.”

“My expectation has always been, really, to go back to private life where I came from, and try to do a little good for the state of Indiana that I love and then go back to plow. That's what I expect.”
