Vice President Joe Biden checks out after shopping at Costco in Washington, Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012. Biden went shopping for presents and to highlight the importance of renewing middle-class tax cuts so families and businesses have more certainty at this critical time for our economy.

Vice President Biden took a trip Thursday to D.C.'s first Costco for its grand opening. The trip was described by the Vice President's Press Pool as an "extended shopping spree." We don't know for sure everything he bought yet, but we do have one piece of visual evidence here that begs the question: just what is Joe Biden thinking?

Leave us a caption in the comments, and we'll update this article with the best responses.
