Here's a look at the carnival-like atmosphere that has emerged around the Iowa State University campus as Iowa Republicans headed to the (straw) polls in Ames on Saturday. One straw poll-goers even dressed like Abraham Lincoln. The event is a fundraiser for the Iowa Republican party and is considered an early test for a candidate ahead of the Iowa Caucuses, in January.
