Johnson wasted no time outlining his priorities as an official presidential hopeful. Two minutes after his initial post, he tweeted: “Right now, we need to fix the fiscal mess. The writing of a financial collapse is on the wall. Balance the federal budget tomorrow."
He also subsequently said the U.S. should get out of Iraq and Afghanistan "tomorrow" and that he's opposed to U.S. military involvement in Libya.
Johnson is the latest in a string of presidential hopefuls using social media sites to break their big news.
